Professor Francois Viruly is one of Africa’s most influential property economists. As a professor of property economics, property investment and property finance at the University of Cape Town (UCT), he has undertaken extensive research into a diverse range of subjects impact the continent’s real estate markets. He has also held influential positions at JHI Professional Services (valuations, research and legal services). He is a Fellow of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), immediate past President of the African Real Estate Society.
